Situated on the edge of our wine and fruit farm dam, the cottages have easy access to the Breede River and are only 14kms from Bonnievale.
Otter's Bend cottages are ideal for a relaxing few days or a family holiday. Also perfect for groups of up to 12 people. Each cottage has it's own pier and there is a rowboat and paddle skis for use on the dam. The adventurous can hire a kayak for fun on the river and swimming is allowed. For the fisherman, there are carp and bass in the river and tilapia in the dam.
This is a popular cycling and wine tasting area with excellent cellars nearby. River boat trips, horse riding, 4x4 trails, rock climbing, golfing and many other activities are within easy reach.
Enjoy a sundowner on the patio while starting the barbecue. Firewood is provided Accommodation | Relax in tranquil, peaceful surroundings on our fruit and wine farm, situated on the south side of the Breede River. Our comfortable, self-catering cottages are fully equipped. Bed and Breakfast accommodation is also available.
Situated next to our farm dam, the cottages are only a short walk from the Breede River.
Paddle skis, tubes and a rowboat are provided for fun on the dam. Each cottage has its own jetty and guests can enjoy swimming or fishing. Each cottage sleeps a maximum of 6 persons in spacious, comfortable bedrooms.
The bunk beds are wider than normal and sufficiently high for adults to sit comfortably on the lower bunks. Linen and towels are provided and bathrooms have both shower and bath. Lounges are comfortably furnished with fireplace Kitchens are fully equipped with stove, microwave and fridge/freezer.
Braais and grids are provided, as well as firewood. Remember to bring firelighters and matches.
Our en-suite Bed and Breakfast room has it's own private entrance and patio, which overlooks a pretty garden.
