The garden rooms overlook the wine-producing vineyard and compliment the stately main house. We offer our guests a taste of old- fashioned comfort and luxury in the town of Montagu on the world famous "Route 62".

You can relax in the splash pool set in the tranquil gardens with magnificent old oak and milkwood trees. Alternatively, you could lounge on the lawns with glorious views of the vineyards and surrounding mountains, sipping a glass of Chenin Blanc produced from grapes from our vines.

Montagu Vines is just a stroll away from the centre of Montagu with its amenities that cater for all tastes and interests. There are restaurants, bistros, historic churches and tranquil gardens for the visitor to enjoy.

Montagu Vines is the perfect place for those intimate weekends, birthdays, and anniversaries or as a stopover whilst discovering "Route 62" and all it has to offer.

You may be lucky and see the "resident" owls perched in the old oak tree or meet one of the big tortoises in the vineyard that visit from the adjacent nature reserve.

Montagu Vines offers 5 garden rooms and 2 rooms in the main farmhouse The tastefully decorated garden rooms include a fireplace and are en-suite with a verandah that overlooks the garden and vineyard with the spectacular mountains as a backdrop.

The 2 rooms in the main farmhouse combine old world charm with modern en-suite facilities (separate entrance with own patio's).

All rooms at Montagu Vines have television, heated towel rails, hair driers, a welcome tray with tea and coffee, a bowl of fruit and a complimentary carafe (Beverley Dawn Chenin Blanc) of wine produced from the grapes of our vineyard.

n the morning a full breakfast is served in the main farmhouse. This is a feast of fresh fruit in season, yoghurt, muesli and cereals and fresh fruit juice followed by your choice of eggs, bacon, tomatoes and mushrooms or cold meats and cheeses.

Please note that smoking is only permitted outdoors and children should be over 12 years of age.
