Description

Augustus Walton, who hailed from England`s Lake District, farmed on "Mimosa" in the Paterson district. "Mimosa" is now part of the Addo Elephant Park. One of his 12 children, Mildmay (Noel`s grandfather) purchased the farm "Tregaron" in the Sundays River Valley in 1894. It was subsequently divided between his 3 sons. Noel`s father, Ralph Wolfe Walton chose the name Lupus Den ("the home of the wolf") for his portion. Noel now farms the land together with his elder son, Adrian - the fourth generation to farm on "Lupus Den".
