Five minutes drive from the main house are four secluded, amply equipped log cabins offering breathtaking views across the De Zeekoe Lake and surrounding mountains. Meticulous attention is given and all needs catered for.

Sunrise meerkat tours available daily. Interaction with these wild animals in their natural habitat last for 2 – 3 hours. All activities are subject to weather.

Weddings

The veranda of the old colonial style homestead of De Zeekoe offers an ideal setting for a wedding ceremony, complimented by overwhelming tranquillity and natural beauty. We specialize in small intimate weddings, comfortably seating 60 people. We can seat 120 people, 80 can be seated inside and if weather permits the rest outside on the veranda.
We can assist in arranging a wedding photographer, beautician and minister if requested.

Conferences

De Zeekoe is a place to relax and feel inspired. Here, away from it all, in a relaxed atmosphere with magnificent views of the Olifants River bed and Outeniqua Mountains, is an ideal place for business strategies and new developments to be brainstormed by you as leader and your team.

Teambuilding programmes can be arranged to suit your individual requirements from drumming to chocolate and wine tasting. We can seat 36 people Board Room style, 60 school room style and 80 cinema style. A data projector, flip chart screen as well as 24 hour internet service is available.

DIRECTIONS FROM CAPE TOWN VIA N2, ± 4½ HOURS DRIVE: * From Cape Town to Oudtshoorn travel along the N2. * Pass Swellendam, and head towards R324 to Barrydale. * From Barrydale travel on R62 to Ladismith. * At Ladismith turn to Calitzdorp to the east. * 500 m before entering the town of Oudtshoorn turn right on the R328 to Mossel Bay. * Travel down the R328 for ± 7 km until you see the De Zeekoe Guest Farm sign, turn right onto a good gravel road for 2 km to the main lodge. DIRECTIONS FROM PORT ELIZABETH, ± 5 HOURS DRIVE: 1. From Port Elizabeth to Knysna travel along the N2. 2. Travel straight through Knysna on the N2. 3. Continue on the N2 to George and then take the R9 North towards Oudtshoorn, which is well sign posted and becomes R62. 4. You will arrive in Oudtshoorn on Langenhoven Road. At the first traffic light turn left onto Voortrekker Rd. 5. Travel through Oudtshoorn on R62 still. 6. About 500 m after leaving the town of Oudtshoorn turn left on the R328 to Mossel Bay. 7. Travel down the R328 for ± 7 km until seeing the De Zeekoe Guest Farm sign, turn right onto a good gravel road for 2 kilometers to the main lodge.
