Directions

Directions from Cape Town International Airport • Keep to the left hand lane as you exit the airport. • Immediately past the petrol station take the Borcherd’s Quarry exit. • This road curves sharply to the left. • At traffic lights (after ± 1.5km) there is a major intersection. Turn right onto M10. • Continue for approximately 2km to the next major junction. Turn right onto M12 (signposted for Stellenbosch & R300). • This road continues for about 5km until you reach a junction with the R300. Turn left onto the on-ramp. • No need to turn off this road, as after approximately 10km the road turns to the right and joins the N1. • Continue on the N1 and take exit 47 to Stellenbosch/Klapmuts/Wellington. • At the end of the off-ramp, turn right on to the R44. • After ± 700m you reach a 4-way stop. Go straight across. • Approximately 300m on, turn left to Franschhoek (R45). • After approximately 10km you will come to a T-junction. • Turn right at T-junction (R45). • This road leads straight into Franschhoek (± 20km) and then becomes the main road of the village. Upon entering Franschhoek • The main road (Huguenot Rd) passes straight through the village and ends at the Huguenot monument. • Turn left at the Post Office into Reservoir Street East • Le Ballon Rouge is the 3rd building on the right. • Parking is available in front of the guesthouse and in a parking area at the back of the guesthouse.
